...but you do not want to.
Here's a list of the things I've done so far (or thought about doing) today instead of just sitting and study Latin. I haven't even got close to any Latin material!! No, wait, I did stumble on the dictionary because it fell to the floor and I never picked it up.
*
Drooling over Baryshnikov. I was watching Sex and the City and the man appeared there. It was love at first sight! I thikn this is all
luzestrellera's fault, now I am starting to pay more attention to oldies. :P
*
Flipping channels endlessly. For a person who does not watch TV, there'll never be anything interesting there. But hey, it's either that or Latin verbs.
*
Playing with "Make a baby" on MySpace. I have 11 babies there and I desperately want them all to grow.
*
Looking for a probably sold-out cooking book. I've become addicted to cooking, and I have my favourite pâtissier chef. I got one of his books, but I think the other one is impossible to get. Still, it is a great idea to look for it online in bookshops websites... and end up clicking on languages books links, or history, or philosophy...
*
Preparing some orange juice. I've been drinking mainly water for the last 6 years, but it was great to squeeze some oranges and waste some time, too.
*
Going for a walk around the block. I don't even have a decent or ironic explanation for this one.
*
Thinking (and *only* thinking) of cleaning the apartment. It seems wind really blows in the heights of the tenth floor. -.-
*
Signing in to LJ. And reading and reading and reading friends' updates, but not commenting, otherwise you feel like you actually are doing something you shouldn't be doing when you actually had to study.
*
Taking a looooong shower. It is not weird for some people, but some of us actually try not to take more than 10 minutes.
*
Ogling the pile of printed fanfiction. And I know them by heart.
*
Wanting to read the pile of books I have in waiting list. Or even better, re reading the ones I loved!
*
Creating a to-do list on LJ. Please, feel free to add your own ideas of "I should be doing this but instead I am doing that".
Over and out.
